Skiing in Argentina

Hmm, I've always though that Argentina was a tropical country but I guess with it being a large country and so near the Antarctic, you can expect it to have some ski resorts down South. Anyways, to ski in Argentina is not as popular as skiing in Vale or other popular ski resorts but there are some decent Argentina ski resorts. In particular, most skiiers would talk about Bariloche, a city at the foot of the Andes and famous for the Cathedral Mountains, an advance ski slope in the area. Cerro Catedral Ski Resort is located in this area.

Another famous mountain in Argentina is the Chapelco Mountain. Although not as advanced as the Cathedral Mountains, skiiers will find different slopes to their liking. Cerro Chapelco is a ski resort in the area. Some skiiers would warn you that although you can get some serious powder skiing in Argentina, it can usually get a bit crowded because locals usually spend their vacation here.
