Airport Bag Scales in New York A-OK!

As people are preparing to travel this holiday season,  New York city officials have inspected around 741 scales at John F. Kennedy  International and La Guardia airports. Officials at the Department of Consumer Affairs found that all scales at all New York City airports are accurately calibrated.

The Officials found that it's proper to check if the scales are well calibrated considering that most airlines are now charging for baggage fees. The officials say that 98% of the scales are now accurate while the remaining that were faulty are under stop -use orders.
