I've always wondered about the Niagara Falls, I've seen it in movies and TV shows a lot of times but I was first initially confused as to where it was located. I always thought it was in Canada and yet, there are some shows which put it in the US. Anyways, good old Google soon cleared that up since the Niagara Falls straddles the Ontario and New York State border.

Anyways, this place is really fascinating. With the hundreds of movies shot in this location, I doubt that there's anyone in the world who doesn't know what the NIagara Falls is. I would love to get a boat ride near there though. If you're visiting from the Canadian side, there are lots of cheap hotels in Toronto area but the best hotel would be where all the action is and there are a lot of Niagara Falls hotels nearby which can afford you a good view of the falls though they probably won't be cheap.

If you're in the US and you just want to get a quick view, the view from Prospect Point, New York is popular choice. Well, whether you're visiting from the US or Canada, the Niagara Falls is a definite must see.
