So I've recently watched the movie Sex and the City and I really loved it. I never watched the TV series but after watching the movie, I really wanted to go out and buy the DVD. Anyways, I LOVED their location where they were supposed to be in Mexico for a vacation. Well, I googled where their location shot was so maybe I could put that resort on my want to visit list but it turned out that the scene was not shot in Mexico but in a private beach house in Malibu. Bummer.

Anyways, that didn't damper my wanting to be in a resort in Mexico. I mean, there are a lot of beautiful resorts in Mexico, right? Well, Rocky Point Mexico should be a good place to visit. It's only four hours from Arizona. However, there seems to be a lot of condos in Rocky Point and not any of that quiant homey beach house like the one in Sex and the City. The good news is that Rocky Point condo rentals are cheaper than five-star beach-house hotels and the newly opened Sonoran Sky would provide you with a lot of choices.

I'm still googling to see if I'm lucky to see a hotel similar to the one in Sex and the City in Rocky Point since it looks like it's really a great place to visit based on this Google Earth picture.
