Arizona Attractions
So if you're planning a trip to Arizona, here are the top three destinations you should definitely see: First is the Grand Canyon, of course. No trip to Arizona is complete without one. On your way to the Grand Canyon, you may want to stop by the Meteor Crater and if you still have the time, try visiting the Petrified Forest.
LODGING
If you're worried about lodging in Arizona, there are a lot of places to stay in Phoenix or Mesa. Hotels are everywhere but if you're planning to stay a while, better skip the hotels and try finding some good Arizona vacation rentals. Vacation rentals means renting out a house, apartment or condominium during your stay instead of a hotel. Vacation rentals are usually cheaper though you won't have the luxury of housekeeping or room service. Arizona rentals is a good idea if you're going on a vacation with a group of people so you can split the bill amongst yourselves.
TRANSPORTATION TO GRAND CANYON
If you're staying in Phoenix, you can take the Greyhound buses to Flagstaff and from Flagstaff, you can reach the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. You can also take the ancient Grand Canyon Railway from Williams, Arizona to the South Rim though I don't know if that's still operational.
