Belize Closes Free Zone

Belize has announced the closing of the Belize Fere Zone and casinos in Corozal, a town which borders Mexico in the country's effort  to shiled its residents and other travelers against the Swine Flu.

There haven't been any confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus in the country and the Belize Government is taking all the necessary precautions. The Belize Tourism Board are working closely with health authorities and are encouraging tourists to call their toll free number: 1-800-624-0686 if they have any questions or concerns when traveling in this country.
