Harbour Hotel Review
On my recent trip to Hong Kong, I stayed at the Harbour Hotel in Canton Road, Mongkok. Don't confuse this hotel with Harbor Plaza as the latter is a four star hotel with 3 different hotels across Hong Kong and the former is only a three star hotel and they only have one location: Mongkok.
Anyways, I can't complain about the price because of its location. We paid for $83 for a triple room for two nights. The triple room is VERY small though it's clean. They included a set breakfast for all three days of our stay which is cool but there's no airport transfer. However, since this is located in a busy area, getting there is pretty easy. We took the CityBus A21, got off One Grand Central and walked the rest of the way. The location is in the back alley of Mongkok, there's not much people around but it's not like we were mugged or something. Hotel staff are really friendly.
Since this hotel was located near the shopping areas, we were able to get a lot of shopping done. It's very near the MTR too which is again a plus. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for casual travelers but not for those with a big family or honeymooners.
