I don't know why but my relatives in the US, whenever one talks about traveling within the country, doesn't seem to count Alaska. I guess when you put it in terms of miles, Alaska seems to be the farthest US state and some people even think that there's nothing much to see in Alaska except snow.

Alaska Travel could actually be fun and contrary to what some people may think, depending on where you go, you don't have to see a lot of snow. Alaska is also home to a lot of national parks. If you're the outdoorsy type, you can find a lot of things to do in Alaska.

Travel Alaska would not be complete without a tour of Denali Park. I've heard that the tallest mountain in North America is located here so you would probably encounter a lot of mountain climbers. Camping is also a good thing to do in Denali Park but if camping is not your thing, the Park houses some luxurious cabins for those who just can't live without heaters or airconditioners and a soft bed.

If ever I come to visit the US in the Summer, my first stop would be Alaska to see some snow.
