Have you ever had that sudden whim to call in sick, pack your bags and take the whole week off? You probably had but the thing that probably stopped most of us from doing so is that last minute flights and hotel bookings are pretty expensive and sometimes, you won't even get lucky to book one.

I've always used Lastminute.com to try to find the cheapest hotels at such short notice. Last minute hotels cost an arm and a leg to book and sometimes, some booking websites don't even cater to last minute customers. Anyways, lastminute.com has some regional websites and they just relaunched their Australian site.

The website looks okay, much better than their previous design. If you're trying to book last minute flights to Australia, chances are, you're probably going to get booked in Qantas (Australia's most popular airlines), Singapore airlines, or Jetstar.
