Turkey is another place I'm contemplating of going to. I'd love to see all the architecture and there are also some lovely beaches here too. Alanya in particular, is the resort of choice in Turkey. Alanya Hotels can be pretty steep especially since this is the most popular resort in Turkey but if you do a lot of searching you can probably find some cheap hostels there.

Some of the attractions in Alanya is the Alanya castle and the Alanya Jazz Festival. Of course, since you're in a beach, expect beach activities such as wind surfing, parasailing, etc. As for the food, Alanyahotels.net has recommended some of the best restaurants in Alanya. If I have some extra money I'll probably try them all.

Hmm...Turkey or India? I'll probably do more research first but if I happen to come by some extra cash, why not both, right?
